What we collect
- Quote request data — name, email, phone, company name, country, business type, tax/VAT number, website, and expected order volume, where you choose to request a bulk quote. None of it is required to browse or to place a normal order.
- B2B list data — name, email, company or shop name, country, and optionally a website or social link and what you buy, where you choose to join our B2B list. Joining is optional and is not needed to order.
- Order data — what you bought, prices paid, shipping and billing addresses, and order correspondence.
- Payment data — the method you chose and its reference (Cash App or Chime payment reference, card-payment link reference from our payment provider, or for crypto the payment identifier and transaction hash). We never receive or store full card numbers.
- Technical data — a cart cookie, a display-currency cookie, and a signed cookie recording which orders this browser may view after you look one up.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To assess and respond to bulk-quote requests — legitimate interests in pricing and fulfilling trade enquiries.
- To send B2B list members restock, new-release and pre-order allocation notices —legitimate interests in keeping trade buyers informed. You can leave the list at any time by emailing support@fudakura.com or privacy@fudakura.com.
- To process, ship, and support your orders — performance of a contract.
- To meet tax, accounting, customs, and anti-fraud obligations — legal obligation.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or behavioural profiling.
Who we share it with
Only where needed to fulfil your order: shipping carriers and customs authorities (name, address, contact number, and a declaration of contents), our payment providers, our email delivery provider, and our hosting and database providers. Each processes data on our instructions.
Because we ship from Japan, fulfilling an international order necessarily transfers your delivery details to carriers and customs authorities in the destination country.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies only — one to hold your cart, one to remember your display currency, one to remember which orders you have proved access to, and one to keep staff signed in. We run no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies, which is why you are not asked for cookie consent.
Your theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage and never reaches our servers.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are retained for the period required by tax and accounting law in our jurisdiction — commonly seven years. B2B list entries are kept until you ask to leave the list. Staff account data is kept while the account is open.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict our use of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email privacy@fudakura.com and we will respond within one month.
Note that we cannot delete records we are legally required to retain, such as issued invoices, while that obligation lasts.
Security
Staff passwords are stored hashed with bcrypt and are never recoverable in plain text. Traffic is served over HTTPS. Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it to fulfil orders.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handled your data, contact privacy@fudakura.com. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
